YOGA with the OMIES takes yoga beyond the traditional yoga studio. Elevate your weekend with a powerful 60 minute all levels vinyasa flow followed by a well deserved cold beer.

Vinyasa is a seamless flow from one posture to another while synching movement to breath. Beat driven music follows the ebb and flow of practice to inspire the intensity of your practice while matching the energy of movement. Each posture is preparation for what's to follow as class builds to a peak posture then slowly comes back down to deep stretching before a final rest, shavasana.
HI I'M NATALEE
It all started in the winter of 2013 at a hot yoga studio, OM ON THE RANGE, in the Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago. After an hour of powerful breathing, deep stretching, mindful movement and dripping from head to toe in sweat; I left feeling light yet powerful, relaxed yet energized, both grounded and high. Each time I stepped onto the mat I felt stronger, more balanced and empowered physically, mentally and emotionally. Yoga was pure magic and I knew I wanted to share this feeling with others. After a summer of training at CPY for my RYT-200-Hour I started teaching in the fall of 2016 and have been sharing the magic ever since.
YOGA with the OMIES started in 2019 after wanting to share my love for the practice outside the traditional studio space. More importantly wanting to transform a traditional style class into an event you can experience with friends. It has always been my goal to make the practice accessible for everyone. Whether you're a curious beginner just dipping your toes or an advanced yogi who loves getting upside down, this community of OMIES is here for you!

Come join Jackie and Natalee as they take you through an hour of guided flow followed by an hour of improvisation, connection and networking opportunities with fellow health and wellness warriors of the Chicagoland area.

 I am a Power Yoga instructor focused on breath awareness, mindful movement, and alignment. My classes are designed to cultivate strength, flexibility, and inner peace, empowering students to connect with their bodies and minds on a deeper level. I am committed to creating a supportive and inclusive space where students of all levels can explore their practice and discover the transformative power of yoga. I truly believe in the healing power of  yoga and all the magic that happens within the four corners of your mat. It's where inner peace is found, strength is gained, lessons are learned and a sense of self is realized. 
Jaclyn Scandinaro
M.A., LCPC, C-DBT
I am a culturally sensitive and LGBTQ+ affirming Licensed Clinical Practicing Counselor (LCPC) and certified DBT therapist in the State of Illinois. I have earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adler University in Chicago. If you work with me, the most common therapeutic techniques I may use will be Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy, harm reduction techniques, and Exposure Therapy (ERP). I may even throw some improv games in the mix because I believe there is healing within humor.
